Singer/Songwriter

Anica Kiana is a South African singer and songwriter whose sound blends vulnerability, emotion, and pure pop polish.

Her musical journey began at an early age, posting covers on social media and quietly building a digital presence that would soon blossom into something bigger. In 2019, she signed with a talent agency and released her debut single, Chasing — a breakout moment that quickly caught the attention of local radio stations and climbed the charts.

Soon after, she began working with notable artists including twin pop duo Locnville, and one of South Africa’s biggest hip-hop exports, Nasty C. That same year she released two more singles: Talk (2019) and Electric (2020). Electric became a fan favourite, rising to No. 3 on the KFM Top 40 and securing the No. 1 spot on Heart FM’s Top 10.

In 2021, Anica joined CBGSV, the independent label owned by Locnville, and released Gotta Leave, featuring Nasty C — who praised her for having a “voice of gold.” In 2022, she gained further traction with the bold and emotionally charged Narc Boy, a track that not only resonated with fans but once again secured chart success. The release of her debut EP, Happily Never After, cemented her presence in the South African pop scene.

2023 saw Anica return with Your Touch, another radio hit and a staple on the KFM Top 40, as well as a feature on several Apple Music charts.

2024 has proven to be a standout year for Anica, marked by the release of Little Boy Ego and Kiss Me Hard — two emotionally resonant singles that continue to showcase her evolving ar… Read More
